Trailing Lotus

This beautiful drought tolerant plant originated from the Canary Islands on the southern coast of Morocco. Even though it is considered quite ratre in the wild, gardeners have been cultivating it for over 100 years. Its amazing slender silvery foliage and stunning bright flowers makes this plant a must for all gardeners. It does extremely well in containers, hanging baskets, as a ground cover or combination planters.

Apply fertiliser regularly at recommended rates. Remove spent flowers to prolong blooming and trim back plants by half when the flowers are finished and fertilise once a week.

Soil: Moist, well-drained soil
